Alan Everett is the most recent addition to the Arizona State Parks Board. Governor Jan Brewer appointed him and his first Parks Board meeting was in May 2010.
Most recently, Everett served as Vice-Chair on the Arizona State Liquor Board. He is a past Mayor of Sedona and member of the Sedona City Council. He founded Diamond E Consulting Ltd in 1989 which specializes in strategic planning. He previously worked for Amoco Oil Company for many years.
He has served on many boards including Chairman of the Verde Valley Medical Center, Member of the Northern Arizona Healthcare, Vice-Chair of the Verde Healthcare Initiative, the Arizona League of Cities and Towns Executive Committee, Northern Arizona Council of Governments Regional Council and the Greater Sedona Community Foundation.
He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Arizona State University and his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Chicago.
Mr. Everett resides in Sedona with his wife Marla and has two children.
